Depending on the procedure that you require, we can
attend to your needs either in our office or at a number of hospital facilities we are
affiliated with. Most outpatient procedures are performed in our office while more complex
procedures that require overnight stay and monitoring are performed at hospital
facilities.

Although each procedure is unique to each patient, the
process that each will undergo is generally similar. Provided below is a typical
scenario that the patient will go through before, during, and after their procedure.
- Consultation: Usually 30 minutes to one
hour with Dr. Gartside discussing, explaining, and examination.
- Pre-operative Preparation: Coordination
with the Office Manager setting up date, pre-op labwork, and instructions.
- Day of operation: Depends on place and
whether inpatient or outpatient; will provide complete and easy understandable
instructions.
- Post Surgery/Rehabilitation: Usually
patient can be seen within the first week, then at approximately one month and a final
follow up between 6 months and one year.
