What is Restylane® Lyft?

Restylane® Lyft is an injectable dermal filler which restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds. It’s also a popular filler for facial depressions and facial scarring. It’s made from non-animal hyaluronic acid and poses no risk of an allergic reaction and can be injected without pre-testing. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin but diminishes with age, which is what causes the skin to lose volume while increasing your chances of wrinkles and folds.

The hyaluronic acid used in Restylane® Lyft is manufactured synthetically from non-animal sources and then stabilized as a crystal-clear gel called NASHA™ (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid). When injected, this form of hyaluronic acid binds with water in your skin, adding volume to plump the skin.

By plumping up the skin when injected, Restylane® Lyft flattens deep folds in the cheeks and chin. As part of a custom facial transformation treatment program by Dr. Roberta Gartside, Restylane® Lyft can be combined with other injectables depending on the degree of work needed and the number of places that require more definition.

Benefits of Restylane® Lyft

An in-office procedure, Restylane® Lyft injections generally only take 30 to 45 minutes to complete. It is injected directly into the skin using an ultrafine needle for minimal discomfort. In addition, a topical numbing cream or locally-injected anesthetic cream may be used.
