New Image Plastic Surgery Associates is now offering a new approach to tightening loose skin and smoothing out wrinkles from the inside out! ThermiRF is a revolutionary, newer procedure that improves skin laxity and combats wrinkles by using thermistor-regulated radio frequency energy (RF).
We offer two variables to this technology in our office: the ThermiTight and ThermiSmooth.
What is ThermiTight?
Thermal heat energy (RF) is delivered beneath the surface of the skin to target tissues and stimulate collagen production for tighter skin. A tiny probe is inserted using small incisions to target specific tissues.
Treatment works on many areas of the body, including:
- Arms
- Abdomen
- Thighs
- Knees
The most common areas for treatment, however, are the:
- Eyes
- Face
- Neck
Benefits of ThermiTight
ThermiTight is a safe and effective solution for patients who are not quite surgery candidates but desire the same effective and long lasting results. The procedure is quick and painless; we use a local anesthetic to numb the areas of treatment. Patients may feel pressure or warmth, but no pain.
The procedure is done in the office, takes less than an hour (depending on the treatment area) and you can return to normal activity within 24 hours.
There is very little down time. Patients may experience slight swelling and bruising in the treated areas. Typically, only one session of ThermiTight is required for optimal results. Results are immediate and improve gradually over time.
